Las Cruces Outreach Yields a Kaleidoscope of Ideas

We here at Chihuahuan Desert Charities are busy working with the local Las Cruces community. We are identifying key projects with huge potential to improve the economic prospects of Las Cruces residents and businesses. The two initiatives that really stand out for us are Kaleidoscope Las Cruces, and Project Mainstreet. Both organizations are headed and supported by enigmatic female leaders. Their positive impact on the lives of the people of the Chihuahuan Desert is already immeasurable and growing stronger every day.

Kaleidoscope Las Cruces

An organization that truly celebrates the many colors of the Chihuahuan Desert. Kaleidoscope Las Cruces is currently planning an extended Bike Ride from Las Cruces to Yellowstone National Park. They will cross three state lines and travel accross the entire state of Colorado. All. On. Bicycle. Up mountains and through the desert. Around ski resorts and water reseviours. The Bike Ride will be documented by several dedicated teammates that will drive nearby filming the exhibition. Stay tuned for more developments on how you can support the Kaleidoscope Las Cruces Bike Ride!

Project Mainstreet

You were not imagining things a few months ago when you saw hundreds of zombies decend upon Downtown Mainstreet in Las Cruces. The Zombie Walk was a fun and whacky way to celebrate the awesomeness of Downtown LC. There were plenty of brains to be eaten and I'm sure several minds were blown in the crowd of onlookers. This amazing success of an event was only topped by the New Years Chile Drop. What a perfect way to ring in the New Year in New Mexico than by watching a technicolor Chile Pepper descend until the stroke of Midnight. It was also the busiest day for Downtown Mainstreet Restaurants and Bars of the year. That's right. The very first day of the year was the busiest so far in 2015. My guess is the only event that will top this years Chile Drop is next years Chile Drop.
